About BLANÁŘ NÁBYTEK, a.s.

Founded in 1989, BLANÁŘ NÁBYTEK, a.s. has specialised in the production of comfortable upholstered furniture such as double beds, all types of daybeds, modern boxspring beds, sofas, settees, mattresses and slatted bed bases. Today it is a market leader in the Czech Republic, but it is also doing well in Europe where it ranks among the leading manufacturers of beds and couches. It exports more than a half of its output, particularly to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania and Croatia. It supplies more than 200 customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

At present it has more than 500 employees, which makes it an important employer in the region. With the production of more than 200 thousand beds a year, it has become the most rapidly growing company of its kind in Europe. BLANÁŘ NÁBYTEK, a.s. is a member of the Czech Furniture Manufacturers Association and proudly uses the Czech Product label.

Yet it still doesn't rest on its laurels. It collaborates with several renowned institutions on the development of its products. All this has a single goal – to offer its customers prime quality, safe products in line with current trends that become an indispensable part of their contented life and help create their stories.

History

1989 Company founded by Roman Blanář
1990 Specialisation in lounge suite and bed production begins, contacts with first customers established
1992 First company building is constructed, first lounge suites exported abroad
1994 The current company premises acquired from former farm cooperative JZD 9. květen
1995 First cooperation with chain stores, reconstruction of original farm buildings into manufacturing and storage facilities begins
2003 Construction of new shop floors begins
2008 The company Roman Blanář transformed into a joint-stock company, BLANÁŘ NÁBYTEK, a.s.
2011 Business project award in the Real Estate category
2012 Own inland and international transport – 50 Mercedes and Volvo trucks acquired
2013 Absolute winner of the Responsible Company of the Year award for the South Moravian region
2014 Company kindergarten established
2017 Introduction of industrial robots started, Industry 4.0 project
2018 Own apprenticeship in furniture making
